- In 2015, Sky sold a majority stake in Sky Bet to CVC Capital Partners, retaining a 20% stake and agreed to a long-term brand licence of the Sky brand.
- In 2018, CVC and Sky both agreed to sell their shares to The Stars Group, which is now part of Flutter Entertainment.
- Sky therefore currently has no shareholdings in Sky Bet.
- The Sky Bet brand continues to be used under a long-term brand license.
- Sky News Arabia is an Arabic 24-hour news channel broadcast mainly in the Middle East and North Africa.
- Sky News Arabia is a joint venture between Sky, a European subsidiary of Comcast, and the Abu Dhabi Media Investment Corporation (ADMIC).
- Sky News Arabia content is subject to review by an Editorial Advisory Committee which supports the editorial independence of the channel.
- The Australian News Channel Pty Ltd (ANC) company has operated a brand licensing agreement for Sky News in Australia and New Zealand since 1996.
- ANC provides news, sports news, weather news and national affairs coverage via channels including Sky News Live, Sky News Weather, Sky News Extra, and Sky News New Zealand.
- Comcast and its subsidiary Sky News UK do not have any ownership of the Sky News entity in Australia or New Zealand or any involvement in editorial/commercial management.
